'Advice to My Students'

English Language acquisition is not an easy task. It is not learned overnight, but rather learned throughout one's lifetime. And like most important things in life it can be frustrating but well worth the effort. A good teacher can only help to plant the seeds for a student to learn, can only lead the student to the door of education. But it is the student himself/herself who must choose to walk through that door and who must hope that those seeds that were planted will root and grow. Practice what you have been taught, it is all that I will expect of you, and should be all that you expect of yourself; higher rewards and accomplishments are mere "icing on the cake".
